A prolific singer/songwriter from Michigan, David embarked upon his music career after blowing out his elbow as a baseball pitcher at age 14. During rehab he picked up his Mom's ukelele and learned a few old standards...soon he wanted a real guitar: a Sears & Roebuck beauty that cost $89.00 (including an amp built into the guitar case!).
Inspired by the Beatles, the Who, the Byrds, the Buffalo Springfield and others, he set out on a musical journey that has lasted many years. Many smiles, many tears.
He has performed as a solo singer/songwriter and also as a lead guitarist in several bands. One of these groups, Springwell, had some success nationally with a song entitled "Its For You" (written by Lennon/McCartney).
David began writing songs at about the age of 16 and hasn't stopped: He has composed well over 200 songs! At present , David has released six albums of original material:

David is currently working on a "collector's album" of previously unreleased songs recorded during the 70's and 80's with his band Bad Axe. Classic tunes from a classic band! Should be available soon!
