Michigan-born singer/songwriter in the style of Jackson Browne and Dan Fogelberg, David has performed for years as a solo acoustic artist and also as a lead guitarist in several bands. In his spare time, he teaches high school physics! F = MA, Bucko! Some fans may remember his band Springwell who performed years ago with other Michigan groups such as Bob Seger,Ted Nugent, the Rationals and the MC5. Springwell also played the iconic Grande Ballroom in Detroit with Fleetwood Mac and with Iggy and the Stooges--quite an eclectic mix! Springwell broke up in the mid-seventies and David formed a new group known as Bad Axe. He also did many acoustic gigs at wild downriver clubs such as Cap'n Ahab's in Wyandotte, Michigan, also appearing at The Backseat Saloon in Keego Harbor, and Union Street in Grosse Point, Michigan. Those were the days! Since that time, David has worked as a solo artist and produced 6 albums of original material. Lately, David has been working on a new "record" of original tunes that he is very excited about and hopes to release soon. Watch for it!
